Find a Country with Warmer and Colder Clues
Globle turns world geography into a daily guessing puzzle. Your task is to identify a mystery country in as few guesses as possible. Incorrect guesses appear on the globe in colours that show their proximity to the answer: warmer shades mean you are getting closer. This gives each guess a second purpose, helping you choose which part of the world to consider next.
The entry page explains the colour scale with an example based on Japan, comparing France, Nepal, Mongolia, and South Korea. Click the globe beneath the instructions to enter the game.
A Daily Geography Routine
A new mystery country arrives each day. According to the official FAQ, the answer changes and your guesses reset at midnight in your own time zone. The daily format suits players looking for a recurring geography challenge with a clear objective.
Understanding the Feedback
The FAQ defines distance as the shortest separation between countries' land borders along the Earth's surface. Territories and water borders are excluded from that calculation. Knowing this helps explain why a guess receives its particular proximity clue.
For players who find the colour scale difficult to distinguish, Settings offers a high-contrast Colour Blind mode.
