Shaving Fractions Off a Lap

Every track in PolyTrack shows three numbers: your current time, your record, and the gap between them. That gap is the whole game. Kodub's free browser racer puts a small Formula-style car on colorful low-poly 3D tracks and asks you to clear every checkpoint faster than you did last run. There is no download and no signup; the game loads quickly and drops you straight onto the track.

The controls never grow past a few keyboard inputs. What separates a decent lap from a record is how much speed you carry through corners, and drifting plus clean racing lines are where the tenths hide. Because attempts are short and restarts instant, the loop of run, fail, adjust settles in fast.

Building and Racing Custom Tracks

A built-in track editor lets players construct courses of their own and share them, which extends the game well past its official content. Once the stock series is memorized, community-made tracks give the time-attack loop new material, and the editor itself becomes a second game for players who would rather design a corner than drive one.

Ghosts, Leaderboards, and the Discord

Ghost replays put your best run on the track beside you, turning solo practice into a race against yourself. Per-track leaderboards record standing times and the differences between them, so chasing someone else's record is as concrete as chasing your own. An official Discord linked from the game gives players a place to trade tracks, times, and feedback.

Small Game, Active Development

Version numbers are visible in-game, and tracks and features have been added over time, so this is a maintained project rather than an abandoned upload. The low-poly art keeps performance smooth in modern browsers, with fullscreen and music toggles, clear terms and privacy pages, and tidy menus that stay out of the way. It is free to play and narrowly focused: if you want variety beyond time-trial racing, this is not the site for it. The depth here is all in repetition.
