Grow a nation across a shared map
FrontWars combines territorial expansion with economic development and diplomacy. Start with a small area, spread into empty land, and compete with rival nations for control of the map. The developer's official game description describes building cities, ports, factories, and railroads, with trains and trading ships supporting your economy.
Alliances allow players to send gold and troops to partners. Conflict can involve land attacks, naval landings, warships, and nuclear weapons, giving players several ways to support expansion or threaten a rival.
Choose a match format
The game offers free-for-all and team matches, including Duos, Trios, and Quads. Classic, Fast, and Chaos formats vary the pace or rules. Private lobbies let friends organize a match, while single-player games put you against AI nations.
The browser homepage provides Join next Game, Single Player, Create Lobby, and Join Lobby options, plus Tutorial and Instructions controls for learning the game.
Explore community maps
FrontWars also provides a map editor and a Community Maps entry. This may suit strategy players who want to try different geographical layouts as well as compete on the standard maps. The homepage includes leaderboard access for following competitive results.
